Dr Chew Huck Chin is a respiratory physician and intensivist at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. Chow Hui Jeremy

Lim Hong Liang

Dr Lim Hong Liang had headed the Thoracic Oncology Service, Head and Neck Service and Bone Marrow Transplant Program at the National University Hospital. From 2000 to 2005, he was the Chief of the Department of Haematology and Oncology Department there. Dharambir Singh Sethi

Marianne Anastasia De Roza

Diong Colin Phipps

Dr Colin Phipps is a haematologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Dr Phipps is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate training of young doctors in Singapore. He has held roles including postgraduate mentor and senior lecturer with NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as MBBS examiner and assistant adjunct professor with DUKE-NUS Medical School. He has authored more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Transplantation, Critical Reviews in Oncology-Haematology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation. Lim Hui Fang

Dr Lim Hui Fang is a specialist in respiratory medicine and intensive care medicine at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Prior to joining private practice, she was a senior consultant at the National University Hospital's (NUH) respiratory and critical care medicine department. Dr Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and underwent clinical specialty training at NUH. She was awarded an Academic Medical Development Award for a clinical research fellowship in severe asthma at McMaster University, Canada. Upon her return, she set up a multidisciplinary complex airway clinic with otolarygnology, infectious disease and allergy/immunology colleagues to provide a one-stop clinical service at NUH. She was also one of the earliest asthma specialists to start using asthma biologics in Singapore. She has been practising medicine for more than 20 years. She was involved in medical education and was the undergraduate director for the division of respiratory and critical care medicine at NUH. In 2015, she and her team were awarded the National Medical Excellence Award by the Ministry of Health (MOH) for their work in reducing mortality in community-acquired pneumonia. Dr Lim was appointed by MOH as the programme lead and deputy programme lead for the Singapore National Asthma Programme 2 and 3, to provide input on streamlining asthma-related health services. Her research interests include asthma epidemiology, asthma disease mechanisms, airway immune-profiling and pneumonia. She continues her research work as a visiting consultant at NUH and adjunct assistant professor at NUS. Dr Lim is also the deputy director of the NUS immunology translational research programme.

Goh Hood Keng Christopher

Dr Christopher Goh is a ear, nose, throat (ENT) surgeon with about 20 years experience in the field. Upon his graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (MBBS, 1985), Dr Goh obtained his postgraduate qualifications in Otolaryngology (FRCS Glasgow and Edinburgh, 1991). His training in Otolaryngology included a one-year stint at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland under the Health Manpower Development Programme Award. There, he was mentored by Professor Arnold Maran, a leading ENT-Head & Neck Surgeon in the United Kingdom. When he returned to Singapore, he completed his Advanced Specialist Training in Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery and was admitted as a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. In 1995, through the SGH Scholarship, Dr Goh went on to do a year-long fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery in Toronto, Canada. Under the mentorship of Professor Patrick Gullane, a world renowned ENT-Head & Neck Surgeon, Dr Goh successfully completed his training and was awarded the American Head & Neck Society Joint Council Certification for Advanced Training in Head & Neck Oncology. Prior to his move to private practice, Dr Goh was the Head of Department and Senior Consultant of Otolaryngology at SGH. He remains a Visiting Consultant to the Hospital as well as to the National Cancer Centre Singapore. Teaching and moulding future generations of doctors is an aspect of medicine that Dr Goh has a passion for. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. He was Chief Examiner of the Otolaryngology Exit Examinations from 2007 to 2012 and has been invited as an external examiner for several overseas examinations. Dr Goh has also previously served as the Chairman of the Specialist Training Committee in Otolaryngology and Chairman of the Residency Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Health which oversees the training of residents in Singapore. Apart from his teaching commitments, Dr Goh is actively involved in the otolaryngology arena. He is currently the Treasurer of the ASEAN Federation of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. Lim Yeong Phang

Dr Lim Yeong Phang is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. He is experienced in performing minimally invasive direct coronary artery bypass (MIDCAB) via the chest wall without cutting through any bone, as well as hybrid coronary revascularisation (a combination of surgical bypass and percutaneous stenting) with interventional cardiologists. Dr Lim was formerly a medical officer in the Republic of Singapore Air Force. He chose to train in surgery and joined the department of cardiothoracic surgery at the Singapore General Hospital in 1998, and was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) fellowship in 2005 to the Cleveland Clinic, USA, where he trained in congenital heart surgery. When he returned to Singapore in 2006, he was appointed as a consultant at the National Heart Centre (NHC) and subsequently as senior consultant. He was also appointed as visiting consultant to KK Women's and Children’s Hospital. He spent 3 months in Wuhan Asia Heart Hospital in China as a recipient of the SingHealth Talent Development Scheme in 2007. Through a grant from the Ministry of Health, Singapore, Dr Lim established the National Cardiovascular Homograft Bank in 2008 at NHC with his colleagues and serves as its medical director. In 2012, Dr Lim was appointed as the director of the cardiac operating theatre at NHC. Dr Lim promoted the use of Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) in Singapore and was co-director of the ECMO programme at NHC. He organised an ECMO symposium as a part of the 17th SGH Annual Scientific Meeting, and organised training for intensivists, respiratory physicians and cardiologists during the H5N1 pandemic in 2009. He is a member of the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery, the Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons of Asia, Singapore Cardiac Society and Chapter of Cardiothoracic Surgeons, Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He has served as the chairman of the NHC Health Lifestyle Committee. Since 2009, Dr Lim has also served as an adjunct assistant professor on the teaching faculty of Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School, and lectures at Nanyang Polytechnic for the Advanced Diploma Nursing Course.
