Google Maps will not navigate for you
Korean mapping rules leave Google Maps without proper directions. Naver Map and KakaoMap are what everyone actually uses, so install one before you land rather than at the airport.
Two hours ahead
Seoul is two hours ahead of Jakarta. An early scan slot is earlier than it looks on your phone, so we plan the first morning around it.
T-money covers the whole trip
One rechargeable T-money card pays for the subway, city buses, most taxis and convenience stores. You can buy it at any convenience store on arrival.

The KTX runs station to station in the city centres, so seeing a specialist in the other cluster is a train ride, not another flight.
Halal food is easier than you expect
Seoul has a cluster of halal restaurants around the central mosque in Itaewon, and more appearing near the big hospitals. We map the ones closest to where you stay.
Pharmacies keep shop hours
Many pharmacies close in the evening and on Sundays, while convenience stores stay open around the clock for basics. Worth knowing before you need something at 10pm.
