Dr. Yim Heng Boon is a senior consultant gastroenterologist with more than 15 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology and advanced interventional endoscopy. After graduating from the National University of Singapore in 1990, he completed postgraduate training in Internal Medicine before pursuing advanced endoscopic training through the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP). His subspecialty expertise includes advanced therapeutic endoscopy and minimally invasive endoscopic procedures for gastrointestinal diseases. He received advanced endoscopy training at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA, followed by specialized training in endoscopic surgery for early gastric cancer at the National Cancer Center, Tokyo, Japan. Prior to joining private practice, Dr. Yim served as Senior Consultant and Deputy Head of the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he also led the Endoscopy Centre. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Yim is deeply involved in medical education and research. He serves as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the National University of Singapore and has held visiting academic appointments in Indonesia and Vietnam. He is also Editor of the international journal Endoscopic Ultrasound and a reviewer for several leading gastroenterology journals, with numerous peer-reviewed publications in advanced endoscopy.

Dr Kieron Lim is a gastroenterologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He is experienced in caring for patients with conditions related to the oesophagus, stomach, colon, liver, pancreas and gallbladder. He is also a member of the medical advisory board and tissue committee at Mount Elizabeth Hospital. Prior to starting private practice, Dr Lim was head of the division of gastroenterology and hepatology at NUH, and medical director for liver transplantation at the National University Centre for Organ Transplantation. Dr Lim graduated from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London School of Medicine (UK) and worked at the liver unit at the Royal Free Hospital before returning to Singapore. He undertook his fellowship training in advanced liver disease and liver transplantation at the Recanati/Miller Transplantation Institute at Mount Sinai, New York, USA. He was formerly an assistant professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and honorary adjunct assistant professor at the division of liver diseases, Icahn School of Medicine, USA. Dr Lim has published multiple research studies in gastroenterology and hepatology. He is an invited reviewer of peer-reviewed journals including the World Journal of Gastroenterology, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Diseases and Singapore Medical Journal. Dr Shim Hang Hock is a gastroenterologist at Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital, Singapore. Dr Shim sits on medical advisory boards and is regularly invited as a faculty/speaker in medical conferences both locally and regionally. He was a key member of the small bowel endoscopy service, and also contributed to the colorectal cancer screening service during his term in SGH. A firm believer in holistic, patient centric care, he is well-liked by his patients and has won several service-related awards for his dedicated care and service excellence.
