Mr. Ab. Razak is a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB.Ch.B) graduate from the University of Mansoura, Egypt in 1984. He then became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S) in Ireland to receive his professional qualification as a surgeon in 1991. Starting as an Intern in Surgery, Orthopaedics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Melaka General Hospital, he continued his career as a Medical Officer (MO) in Medicine, Paediatrics and General Surgery at the same hospital. He later joined Kuala Lumpur General Hospital as a MO in General Surgery, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery. In 1992, he became a Resident in Paediatric Surgery at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin, Ireland and Resident in General Surgery at Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, England. After that, he broaden his specialization in General Surgery by becoming a Clinical Specialist as well as Consultant and Head of Surgery at Melaka General Hospital before joining KPJ Puteri Specialist Hospital as our Resident Consultant.
