Dr. Premadeva C Satkurunathan

Dr. Premadeva C Satkurunathan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with subspecialty expertise in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) before completing his Master of Surgery in Ophthalmology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He further advanced his expertise through subspecialty training and Fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus in Northern Ireland. Dr. Premadeva manages a wide range of eye conditions affecting both children and adults, with particular interest in childhood vision disorders, squint (strabismus), amblyopia, refractive problems, and general ophthalmic conditions. He is experienced in comprehensive eye assessments, paediatric visual development evaluation, and long-term management of ocular alignment disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, he holds qualifications including Certified Medical Impairment Assessor (CMIA) from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and Associate Member status in Malaysia.
