Dr. Mohana Raj obtained his medical degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2004. He completed his MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) and Masters of Surgery from Universiti Malaya, as well as his FRCS in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons England. Following graduation in 2012, he practised as a general surgeon at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL). He joined the Malaysian Colorectal Subspecialty programme in July 2015 and completed training in October 2019, with overseas colorectal fellowship training in the UK under the ISTP programme by RCS England, including clinical attachments at Whittington Hospital and St. Mark's Hospital, London. He is an Adjunct Lecturer at MAHSA University and is actively involved in junior doctor training, research, and publications.
