Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rashdan Zaki Bin Mohamed

Associate Professor Dr. Rashdan Zaki Mohamed is a distinguished senior consultant paediatrician and paediatric endocrinologist. He currently serves as the Head of Specialty (Paediatrics) at KPJ Healthcare Berhad and holds key positions at DSH2, including Head of Department and member of the Medical Advisory Committee. His expertise lies in managing children with growth failure, thyroid diseases, pubertal disorders, obesity, diabetes, and other endocrine-related issues. He received his MBBS at the University of Malaya in 2004, completed his Master of Paediatrics in 2013, and completed his Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology at UMMC in 2015 and National University Hospital Singapore (NUHS) in 2019. His research focuses on Growth Hormone deficiency in children and child obesity, with numerous publications in renowned medical journals. He is a passionate advocate for child health, authoring the doktorbudak platform, and has been featured in Harian Metro and appeared on Astro Awani. As an active member of the Malaysian Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Group, he contributes to the Subspecialty Subcommittee for Education under the Malaysian Medical Council.
