Dr. Law Weng Giap

Dr. Law Weng Giap is a rheumatologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience in managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. His expertise includes systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), systemic scleroderma, myositis, and various forms of inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout. He has a special interest in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Law served as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Rheumatology, Allergy and Immunology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). He was also actively involved in clinical research as a site Principal Investigator and collaborator in multiple clinical trials, particularly in systemic sclerosis and psoriatic arthritis. In addition, he held the role of Quality Review Officer in his department. Dr. Law graduated from the University of Sydney with M.B.B.S (Honours) in 1995 and obtained his MRCP (UK) in 2000. He completed his specialist training in Rheumatology at TTSH. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and an International Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. Beyond clinical work, he has contributed significantly to medical education, teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He also served as Adjunct Associate Professor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and chaired the Clinical Competency Committee for the National Healthcare Group Rheumatology Residency Programme.
