Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teh Pei Chiek

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teh Pei Chiek is a Consultant Neurologist specializing in Internal Medicine and Neurology. He obtained his Medical Degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia before pursuing postgraduate training with the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom. He subsequently completed subspecialty neurology fellowship training under the Ministry of Health Malaysia at Queen Square Hospital, University College London, followed by additional fellowship training focusing on Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Teh previously served as the Head of the Neurology Unit at Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar, Seremban. He has extensive experience managing a broad range of neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, headaches, movement disorders, and neuromuscular diseases. He has performed more than 1,000 nerve conduction studies, botulinum toxin injections, and electroencephalography (EEG) interpretations. His clinical practice emphasizes evidence-based neurological care, advanced diagnostic evaluation, and individualized long-term neurological management. In addition to his clinical expertise, he is actively involved in medical education and academic activities as an Associate Professor.
