Dr Chia Yin Nin is a gynaecological oncologist practising in Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Her clinical expertise includes the screening and treatment of gynaecological cancers, such as of the cervix, uterus, ovary, fallopian tubes and vulva, and precancer gynaecological diseases. Other conditions include abnormal pap smears, heavy menses, irregular menses, menstrual cramps, ovarian cysts, uterine prolapse (sagging of the womb) and vagina infections. Dr Chia performs complex pelvic surgeries, such as open, laparoscopic (keyhole) and robotic surgeries. She performed the first laparoscopic radical hysterectomy in Singapore in 2011. Dr Chia completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the National University of Singapore. She was awarded the Hoops Medal for a distinction in obstetrics and gynaecology and the Singapore Medical Association Bronze medal for excellent academic achievement for her MBBS. In 2008, she obtained her certification in gynaecology oncology from the Royal Australian New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Dr Chia was formerly the deputy head of the Department of Gynaecological Oncology and the head of the gynaecological cancer unit of the Department of Gynaecological Oncology at the Kandang Kerbau Women's and Children's Hospital (KKH). Dr Chia is the president for the Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore and council member of the gynaecology oncology subsection of the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Singapore. She is one of the founding members and council members of the Asian Society of Gynaecologic Oncology. Dr Chia also sits on the editorial board for the Journal of Gynaecologic Oncology. Aside from clinical work, Dr Chia was an adjunct assistant professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore where she received numerous teaching awards for her exemplary teaching. Dr Chia's research interests include gynaecological cancer and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines, and has participated in related landmark clinical trials. For instance, she was the principal investigator for the multicentre Bayer ovarian cancer 12007 study.

Chin Hui Xian (Felicia)

Dr Felicia Chin is an obstetrician and gynaecologist at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. She subspecialises in gynaecological oncology. She is also an accredited laparoscopic surgeon in advanced laparoscopy for both cancer and benign conditions, and an accredited colposcopist with The Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore. Prior to joining private practice, Dr Chin was a senior consultant with the department of gynaecological oncology at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). She graduated from the National University of Singapore and is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK. She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan award and completed her fellowship training in fertility sparing management in gynaecological cancers at The Royal Women’s Hospital, Australia. At KKH, she spearheaded Singapore’s first gynae-oncofertility service, which provides holistic care for young women with early-stage gynaecological cancer, helping them to retain their fertility. Dr Chin was also instrumental in implementing the KKH endometrial hyperplasia management guideline, which standardises and streamlines care for women with endometrial hyperplasia. She has been practising medicine for more than 15 years. Dr Chin is passionate about raising awareness on gynaecological cancers and patient advocacy. She sits on the board of the GyneCologic Cancer Group Singapore, and volunteers with the Himalayan Women’s Health Project, which performs yearly cervical cancer screening in Ladakh, India. She has won numerous awards including the SingHealth Quality Service awards, Service from the Heart awards and the SingHealth 10-year Long Service Award.

Pang Yi Ping Cindy

Dr Cindy Pang is an obstetrician and gynae-oncologist practising in Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. She specialises in conditions affecting the female reproductive system, providing antenatal care to expectant mothers, and gynaecological cancer care. Dr Pang underwent advanced surgical training as a fellow at the Western Australian gynae-oncology group in Perth, Australia under the Health Manpower Development Plan from the Ministry of Health of Singapore in 2012. This stint equipped her with skills for pelvic oncologic surgery and laparoscopic procedures. She has since performed minimally invasive surgery on selected women with endometrial and ovarian cancers. To improve public education on the detection and prevention of female cancers, Dr Pang has actively organised activities at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and the Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore (SCCPS). She previously ran a weekly preinvasive (abnormal Pap smear and pre-cancerous change) clinic in the obstetrics and gynaecology centre at SGH. She also represented SGH in the Women’s Gynaecological Cancers Awareness Month steering committee organised by the Singapore Cancer Society in 2017. She has also been serving as a council member in the SCCPS since 2009 and was the society's treasurer from 2014 – 2015. Dr Pang was awarded the Tony McCartney Surgical Innovation prize at the Australian Society of Gynaecological Oncologists Annual Scientific Meeting at Darwin in 2013. She has also participated as a facilitator at various workshops, such as the Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy Masterclass in Perth, Australia in 2012 and the 'Anatomy of Complications' series of workshops in Perth and Singapore. Dr Pang is a clinical instructor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS and an adjunct professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School. She also assists the division of graduate medical studies at the National University Hospital, Singapore in assessing trainees for in-hospital clinical training modules on colposcopy.
