Dr. Wong Lisa

Dr Lisa Wong is a gynaecologist practising in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. She specialises in gynaecological oncology, which focuses on cancers of the female reproductive system. General female conditions that Dr Wong treats include fibroids (benign growths), ovarian cysts and genital warts, as well as gynaecological cancers such as cervical cancer, uterine (womb) cancer, ovarian cancer and cancers affecting the vagina and vulva. Dr Wong performs procedures such as Pap smear, colposcopy (examination of cervix, vagina and vulva), HPV vaccines, cervix surgery, womb removal and fibroid removal. She is well-equipped in using minimally invasive techniques such as keyhole surgery and robotic surgery for benign and cancer surgery treatment. Dr Wong attained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the National University of Singapore. After qualifying as a specialist gynaecologist in Singapore, Dr Wong completed a 3-year programme in cancer surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital's Gynaecology Unit in London, UK. She is an accredited gynaecological oncologist certified by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of London, UK. Dr Wong was formerly a consultant at the Singapore General Hospital and the National Cancer Centre. She was previously the president of the Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore. Currently, she is the chairperson of gynaecological oncology at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
