Dr Foo Kian Fong is a medical oncologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. His clinical interests are in gastrointestinal cancers. He started training in medical oncology in 1998, completed his advanced training, and was a certified specialist in 2001. He had a one-year stint as a Fellow at the Peter McCallum Cancer Institute in Melbourne where he underwent training in gastrointestinal cancers from 2001 to 2002. Dr Foo was previously a senior consultant in the department of medical oncology at the National Cancer Centre. He was also a former clinical teacher in medicine at the National University of Singapore. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncologist, European Society of Medical Oncologists and the Hong Kong College of Physicians. He served as a committee member of the Singapore Society of Oncology in 2000 and 2003, and was a member of Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee of the National Cancer Centre from 2004 – 2008.

Zee Ying Kiat

Dr Zee Ying Kiat is a medical oncologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. He is well-versed in general medical oncology and has special interests in gastro-oesophageal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic, and colorectal cancers. He was a consultant medical oncologist at the National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS). Dr Zee graduated from the University College London, UK. He worked at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London before completing specialist training in medical oncology at the National University Hospital. He subsequently underwent fellowship training at The Christie Hospital and Paterson Institute for Cancer Research in Manchester, UK, where his focus was on anti-cancer drug development. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and founding member of the Hepatopancreatobiliary Association of Singapore. He is the board member of the Mount Elizabeth Hospital’s medical advisory board, the National Healthcare Group's domain specific review board and the chapter of medical oncologists, College of Physicians, Singapore. His commitment to research has been recognised through various grants including the National Medical Research Council’s clinician investigator support grant and NCIS investigator protected time grant. At NCIS, he conducted clinical and translational research as principal or co-investigator in local and international trials involving novel targeted therapies for colorectal, gastric, liver and pancreatic cancers. He has published his work as first author in various journals including the British Journal of Cancer, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Lancet Oncology and Nature Reviews. Dr Zee is a recipient of the Excellent Service Award from SPRING Singapore.
