Dr Yang Linqi is a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in Paediatric Cardiology at Thomson Paediatric Centre. She provides comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart conditions, while also delivering general paediatric services. Her clinical expertise spans fetal and paediatric cardiology, allowing her to care for patients from the prenatal stage through childhood. As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), she also supports mothers with breastfeeding and infant nutrition, promoting healthy early childhood development. Dr Yang graduated from the National University of Singapore and obtained her postgraduate specialist qualification from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom). She completed advanced clinical attachments in Fetal Echocardiography at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Toronto, Canada, and Ramathibodi Hospital, Thailand. Prior to joining Thomson Medical, she practised at the National University Hospital (NUH), where she managed patients in the General Paediatrics, Paediatric Cardiology, and Paediatric High Dependency Units, including critically ill post-operative cardiac patients. Beyond clinical practice, she is actively involved in teaching medical students and healthcare professionals, conducting research, and participating in humanitarian medical missions. As a mother of two, Dr Yang believes in building long-term partnerships with families by providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports every stage of a child's growth and development.
