Dr See Hui Ti is a medical oncologist at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals and Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Having registered with the General Medical Council in the UK in 1996, Dr See worked at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, UK, before continuing her internal medicine training at the Singapore General Hospital. Wong Chiung Ing

She has an accreditation for both clinical and laboratory haematology. She was an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and a senior clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Dr Mya received the SingHealth EPIC award in 2013 for leading the team which implemented a new workflow that reduces the time taken for blood products to reach patients. She also received the SingHealth Service Quality Partner Award, SingHealth Quality Service Award (Gold) and SingHealth Quality Service Award (Star).

Tay Hin Ngan

Dr Tay is an Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT or otolaryngology) specialist currently practising in Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore. His clinical interests include using endoscopic and robotic approaches for thyroid surgery, head and neck surgery, advanced sinus surgery, and surgery for sleep apnea and cancers in the ear, nose and throat. Dr Tay graduated from the NUS faculty of medicine and completed his training in otolaryngology in Singapore, becoming the first ever distinction candidate in the Exit Examinations. Under the Health Manpower Development Program Award, he subsequently underwent Senior Fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncologic Surgery in Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre (New York) and was rated top 5% among his 35 years of trainees by Professor Jatin Shah, recognised as the leading head and neck surgeon in the world today. Dr Tay was then appointed visiting scholar to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre with Professor Carl Snyderman’s Endoscopic Skullbase Service. After obtaining further training in robotic surgery in Korea’s Yonsei Severance Hospital, Dr Tay founded the Robotic Head and Neck Surgery Program in Singapore General Hospital (SGH). This began with thyroid surgery and further expanded into surgery of the oropharynx and neck dissection for cancer. He is one of the pioneers of robotic tongue base surgery for obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) in the region. Dr Tay has been invited to teach in Malaysia, Korea, Israel on robotic approaches to thyroidectomy, transoral robotic surgery (TORS) for cancer and OSA. At present, he is the only head & neck surgeon in the region recognised with a listing in Intuitive Surgical’s da Vinci Surgeon Locator. Dr Tay has always been passionate about teaching and has won the Star Inspiring Surgical Teacher Award and Most Innovative Teacher Award for resident teaching. He continues to contribute time teaching Duke-NUS students in his capacity as adjunct assistant professor, after leaving his position as chief of the Head and Neck Service in SGH ENT to start his private practice. Dr Tay’s philosophy of practice is to educate patients and empower them to make informed choices in managing their condition. He strives to remain on the cutting edge and be able to offer patients all possible options in the management of their problems. But most of all, he aims to be compassionate and to be uncompromising on ethics.

Teo Cheng Peng Freddy

Dr Teo Cheng Peng is a haematologist practising at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore. He was awarded the Public Service Commission Scholarship by the Singapore government to study medicine at the National University Hospital. His clinical interests are in haematology and oncology. He graduated in 1984 and completed the postgraduate examination in 1987. Under another scholarship, he received further specialised training in stem cell transplantation at the Royal Marsden Hospital, a leading cancer centre in the UK. Upon returning, Dr Teo started the Bone Marrow and Peripheral Blood Stem Cell Transplant programme at the National University Hospital. In 1995, he was then recruited to develop the Autologous Stem Cell Transplant programme for solid tumours in the department of medical oncology at the Singapore General Hospital. After successful implementation of the clinical programme, he continued his career and work in Gleneagles Hospital, with stem cells in the fields of haematology and medical oncology. Dr Teo continued to develop his interest in the field of stem cells and was one of the pioneers in starting an autologous stem cell bank in Singapore. Dr Teo is the chairman of Gleneagles Hospital's Blood Transfusion Committee. He is also a member of the Singapore Society of Haematology, Singapore Bone Marrow Donor Programme, Singapore Society of Oncology, Society of Transplantation (Singapore), International Society of Haematology and Graft Engineering , and the International Society of Haematology.

Lee Chuen Peng

Dr Lee Chuen Peng is a respiratory and critical care physician at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. He trained at the Stanford Health Care Sleep Medicine Center, USA and completed a master’s in sleep medicine at the University of Sydney, Australia. He was awarded the title of somnologist, an expert in sleep medicine, by the European Sleep Research Society and is a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, USA. During his time at TTSH, he established a sleep laboratory and developed the integrated sleep service for patients with sleep disorders. Dr Lee chaired the National Healthcare Group’s (NHG) sleep workgroup and contributed to the development of sleep medicine services. He has been practising medicine for more than 20 years. Dr Lee is involved in medical education as a senior clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. He was a faculty member of the NHG’s respiratory medicine residency programme. As secretary of the sleep chapter of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, he participates in professional collaborations. He is also involved in the Ministry of Health working groups on sleep medicine policy and contributes to sleep health initiatives in Singapore.
