Internationally, he is a visiting expert with Boston Scientific and a collaborator in the COLOR III trial. Dr Chong has obtained numerous grants and published in more than 100 publications in the fields of colorectal cancer and education. He is also part of editorial boards and an invited speaker at local and overseas conferences. He is a faculty member of several societies including the ASEAN Society of Colorectal Surgeons and the Asian-Pacific Study Group for Gastrointestinal Surgery.
