Dr. Jesse Hu is a General Surgeon with subspecialty interests in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at FeM Surgery @ Farrer, Singapore. She manages both benign and malignant breast and thyroid conditions, including breast cancer, breast lumps, breast pain, breastfeeding problems, thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and neck lumps. She is committed to delivering individualized, patient-centered care, combining oncologic surgery with plastic and reconstructive techniques to optimize both cancer control and quality of life outcomes. Her approach emphasizes holistic recovery and tailored treatment planning to help patients live fully after surgery. Prior to private practice, Dr. Hu served as Senior Consultant in the National University Health System, caring for patients at National University Hospital and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. She was Tumor Group Lead for Breast Oncology at the National University Cancer Institute Singapore and led initiatives in JCI accreditation focusing on patient safety and care quality. She also led value-driven outcome programs for breast cancer patients. She completed surgical training at National University Hospital and was admitted as Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She further completed two Health Manpower Development Plan fellowships at Oxford University Hospitals, United Kingdom, specializing in oncoplastic breast surgery and endocrine and thyroid surgery. She is actively involved in breast cancer awareness education and overseas medical missions.
