Dr. Soon Kong Choon is a Consultant General, Hepatobiliary Pancreatic Surgeon specialising in general surgery, hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery, liver surgery, pancreatic surgery, robotic surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. His expertise covers the surgical management of conditions affecting the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and gastrointestinal system. His areas of clinical expertise include liver cancer and tumours, pancreatic cancer and tumours, bile duct cancer, gallbladder cancer, gallstones, cholecystitis, biliary obstruction, acute and chronic pancreatitis, liver and pancreatic cysts, and other hepatobiliary disorders. He also manages general surgical conditions such as abdominal hernias, appendicitis, and other gastrointestinal and abdominal conditions. Dr. Soon performs a wide range of surgical procedures, including liver resection, pancreatectomy, Whipple procedures, distal pancreatectomy, gallbladder surgery, cholecystectomy, bile duct surgery, biliary reconstruction, and surgery for liver and pancreatic tumours.
