Dr. Yue Wai Mun

Dr. Yue Wai Mun is a highly experienced Spine and Scoliosis Specialist Surgeon at The Orthopaedic Centre, Farrer Park Medical Centre. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a Senior Consultant in the Spine Service at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Singapore General Hospital, where he also held key leadership roles including Director of the Spine Fellowship Programme and Director of Quality Assurance and Clinical Governance. Dr. Yue has extensive experience in managing complex spinal conditions affecting both the cervical and lumbar spine. He is widely recognized as a pioneer in minimally invasive spine surgery and computer-navigated spine surgery in the Asia-Pacific region. His expertise spans a wide range of advanced spinal procedures aimed at improving surgical precision and patient outcomes. He continues to contribute actively to academia as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and Clinical Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore. He also serves as an examiner for multiple national medical examinations and is involved in postgraduate training. Dr. Yue has made significant contributions to scientific research, authoring numerous landmark publications and presenting widely at international conferences. He has also conducted workshops and performed demonstration surgeries globally. His work has earned recognition, including the Best Paper Award at an international spine surgery meeting in the United States.
