Dr. Wong Sin Yew 黄乘佑医生

Dr. Wong Sin Yew is an experienced Infectious Disease Specialist with over 20 years of clinical practice. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and completed his training in Internal Medicine, earning a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine). He subsequently underwent advanced training in infectious diseases in both Singapore and the United States. Dr. Wong spent two and a half years as a clinical and research postdoctoral fellow in infectious diseases at Stanford University School of Medicine and the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, where he gained extensive experience in managing complex infectious diseases and conducting research. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Wong served as Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Clinical Director of the Communicable Disease Centre. He also served two terms as an elected member of the Singapore Medical Council and has contributed to various committees under the Ministry of Health and restructured hospitals. Currently, Dr. Wong is involved in managing the Infectious Disease Specialists Group and continues to provide care for patients across multiple private hospitals. He also serves as a visiting consultant at Singapore General Hospital and Sengkang General Hospital, where he is actively involved in training future infectious disease specialists. His clinical interest focuses on infections in immunocompromised patients.
