Dr. Wilson Tay is a Pain Specialist and Anaesthesiologist with expertise in minimally invasive interventional procedures for the management of chronic pain conditions. His clinical focus includes treating neck and back pain, headaches, abdominal and pelvic pain, and cancer-related pain using advanced techniques designed to improve patient outcomes with precision and safety. He is highly skilled in ultrasound-guided pain interventions, allowing for accurate targeting while minimizing the need for radiation exposure. This approach enhances both the effectiveness and safety of procedures, making it a preferred method in modern pain management. Dr. Tay obtained his Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology from the National University of Singapore. He further advanced his training through a multidisciplinary Chronic Pain Clinical Fellowship at St Joseph’s Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada. He holds internationally recognized certifications including Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) and Certified Interventional Pain Sonologist (CIPS) from the World Institute of Pain in the United States. In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Tay is a registered acupuncturist with the Singapore Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board. He has previously practiced at the Pain Management Centre at Singapore General Hospital and continues to contribute as a visiting consultant.
