Dr. William Kristanto 陈伟联医生

Dr. William Kristanto is an Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in advanced coronary procedures and cardiac imaging techniques. He graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2010 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the National University Hospital (NUH), where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed his Cardiology Senior Residency at NUH. He further specialized in interventional cardiology under the mentorship of Dr. Sidney Lo in Liverpool, New South Wales, supported by the prestigious Ministry of Health Health Manpower Development Plan award. His clinical expertise includes diagnostic coronary angiography, complex coronary angioplasty, and the use of advanced intracoronary imaging modalities such as intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and optical coherence tomography (OCT). He is also experienced in coronary physiology assessment techniques including fractional flow reserve (FFR), index of microvascular resistance (IMR), coronary flow reserve (CFR), and resting full-cycle ratio (RFR). Dr. Kristanto previously served at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital as the Cardiac Rehabilitation Lead and held a secondary role as Deputy Chief Medical Informatics Officer, contributing to the implementation of next-generation electronic medical records systems. He is currently a visiting consultant cardiologist at the National University Heart Centre and participates in the Western STEMI Network, providing emergency interventional care. He is actively involved in clinical education and research, mentoring cardiology trainees and participating in ongoing clinical trials.
