Dr. Vish Padmanabhan

Dr. Vish Padmanabhan is the Medical Director and Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist at SuperSight Eye and Lasik Centre. With over 22 years of experience in ophthalmology, he is registered to practice in both Singapore and Australia. He is widely recognized for his expertise in cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery, particularly in advanced cataract techniques using multifocal implants. Dr. Vish obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne and completed his postgraduate ophthalmology training in Sydney, Australia. He later joined the Singapore National Eye Centre, where he served as a Consultant in Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology. He has also held a position as a visiting consultant at the National University Hospital (NUH). With more than 26 years of experience in cataract surgery, Dr. Vish is highly regarded for his work in multifocal lens implantation, helping patients reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses. He has been actively involved in training ophthalmologists both locally and internationally and has conducted numerous workshops across the United States, Asia-Pacific, India, and China. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences and has contributed to textbooks and peer-reviewed journals, particularly in the areas of glaucoma treatment and complex cataract surgery. His clinical practice covers a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, refractive errors, dry eye disease, and retinal conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration.
