Dr. Vina Doshi

Dr. Vina Doshi is a consultant physician specializing in geriatric medicine with extensive experience in elderly care. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Leeds in 1995 and completed her internship in Leeds before continuing her medical career in Singapore in 1996. She earned the Member of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) qualification in 2001 and became a certified specialist in Geriatric Medicine in 2004. Dr. Doshi previously served as Consultant Geriatrician and Director of the Geriatric Day Hospital and Geriatric Centre at Changi General Hospital for nine years, where she also contributed to the Patient Safety Committee and led the Falls Clinic. She has been featured in publications such as Caring magazine and The Straits Times, and has authored multiple research papers on stroke complications, prolonged hospitalization, and elderly care, including falls and hip fractures. She also contributed a chapter to the book “Behind the Stethoscope.” A strong advocate for community-based elderly care, she founded AgeWell ARTSZ Medical Group Pte Ltd in 2010. Her clinical interests include dementia management, geriatric syndromes, rehabilitation, nutrition in the elderly, and caregiver education.
