Dr. Tan further refined his subspecialty expertise through international fellowships in foot and ankle surgery in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Australia, and Germany under leading surgeons. His clinical interests include sports injuries of the foot and ankle, ankle arthroscopy, fracture management, joint replacement surgery, cartilage restoration, joint preservation techniques, and minimally invasive bunion correction. He is also experienced in primary and revision forefoot surgery and advanced reconstructive techniques that support accelerated rehabilitation. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Tan is actively involved in academic teaching as Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and serves as core faculty in orthopaedic residency training and international surgical education programmes.
