Dr. Tan Ngian Chye 陈仰才医生

Dr. Tan is a senior head and neck surgical oncologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in managing complex oncologic and reconstructive surgical cases. He previously served at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS), where he was Clinical Lead for head and neck oncologic reconstruction and skin malignancies. He also contributed to service development as Co-Chair of the NCCS Cancer Service Line Development (CSLD) for nasopharyngeal carcinoma and as a member of CSLD initiatives for thyroid and head and neck cancers. Dr. Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his general surgical training in 2006. He then pursued advanced subspecialty training in head and neck surgical oncology, followed by a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan, under internationally renowned experts Professor Wei Fu-Chan and Professor Jeng Seng-Feng. These advanced fellowships equipped him with expertise in both tumor resection and complex head and neck reconstruction. His clinical practice covers head and neck tumors, thyroid and parathyroid disease, salivary gland disorders, skin lumps and malignancies, and reconstructive surgery following cancer removal. Dr. Tan has made significant academic contributions, co-authoring over 50 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals including Oral Oncology, Head & Neck, Cancer, and Microsurgery. He has also received multiple recognitions including the Singapore Health Quality Service Silver Award (2016/2017), Gold Award (2018/2019), and SingHealth Publish Award for three consecutive years (2013–2015).
