Dr Tan Kuanyang

Dr Tan Kuanyang is a Consultant Paediatrician at Thomson Paediatric Centre who is dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for infants, children, and adolescents. Graduating at the top of his class from the National University of Singapore in 2004, he received multiple Dean's List awards and academic prizes throughout medical school. His clinical philosophy combines scientific excellence with clear communication, ensuring that parents fully understand their child's condition and treatment options while receiving personalized medical care. Dr Tan completed most of his specialist paediatric training at the National University Hospital, where he developed extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of childhood illnesses. He further broadened his expertise through overseas clinical attachments at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Northwick Park Hospital in the United Kingdom, and KK Women's and Children's Hospital in Singapore. As both a paediatrician and a father, Dr Tan has a strong interest in breastfeeding support and parent education, helping families gain the confidence and knowledge needed to provide the best possible care for their children from infancy onwards.
