Dr. Sulaiman Bin Yusof

Dr. Sulaiman Bin Yusof is an experienced Colorectal and General Surgeon with expertise in colorectal surgery and bowel disease management. He graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2002 and completed his Basic Surgical Training in the United Kingdom in 2006 before returning to Singapore in 2007. Dr. Sulaiman obtained his Fellowship in General Surgery in 2013 and became a member of the Singapore Colorectal Society in 2015. In 2016, he underwent advanced Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne under Professor Alexander Heriot, further strengthening his expertise in colorectal surgery and cancer management. In addition to his work at Colorectal Clinic Associates, Dr. Sulaiman serves as Senior Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Changi General Hospital. He has also contributed extensively to medical education as Adjunct Associate Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Adjunct Assistant Professor at both NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and Duke-NUS Medical School. Dr. Sulaiman has published several scientific articles on important colorectal surgery topics, including colonic stenting in acute malignant large bowel obstruction and intestinal polyparasitic infections. He is recognised for his dedication to patient care and service excellence, receiving the SingHealth Gold Service Award in 2020 and Silver Service Award in 2022.
