Dr. Steve Yang 杨子仪医生

Dr. Steve Yang is a Respiratory Physician with expertise in Respiratory Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, and Interstitial Lung Disease. He obtained his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 1994 and completed specialist training in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He further advanced his subspecialty training in Intensive Care Medicine and Interstitial Lung Disease at the University of Washington Medical Centre in Seattle, United States. Dr. Yang holds Fellowships with the College of Chest Physicians (USA), the Chapter of Respiratory Physicians Singapore, and the Chapter of Intensive Care Physicians Singapore. He also earned the European Diploma in Intensive Care. Currently practicing at The Respiratory Practice, Dr. Yang has strong clinical interests in Critical Care, Interstitial Lung Disease, and End-stage Lung Diseases. Beyond clinical practice, he is actively involved in research and medical governance, serving as Chairman of IRB-D, a subcommittee under SingHealth’s Centralized Institutional Review Board. He has published research in both local and international medical journals and regularly serves as a reviewer for publications including the Singapore Medical Journal, Respirology, and Respiratory Care. Dr. Yang is committed to evidence-based respiratory and critical care medicine while supporting patients with chronic and complex lung diseases through comprehensive and multidisciplinary treatment approaches.
