Dr. Soo Khee Chee 蘇啟智医生

Dr. Soo Khee Chee is a highly respected Surgical Oncologist and Head and Neck Surgeon with decades of experience in cancer surgery and academic medicine. He graduated in medicine from the University of Singapore in 1975 before pursuing surgical training in Sydney, Australia. He later completed fellowship training in Surgical Oncology and Head and Neck Surgery in both London and New York, further advancing his expertise in complex cancer surgery. After completing his overseas training, Dr. Soo returned to Singapore General Hospital in 1988, where he played a pivotal role in surgical leadership and cancer care development. In 1993, he became Head of the Department of Surgery at Singapore General Hospital, a position he held for 11 years. He also served as Chair of the National University of Singapore Department of Surgery. In 1997, Dr. Soo became the Founding Director of the National Cancer Centre Singapore, leading the institution for two decades before retiring from the role. He also served as Senior Vice Dean of Duke-NUS Medical School and continues to hold the prestigious Benjamin Sheares Professorship in Academic Medicine. Dr. Soo currently practices at Farrer Park Hospital and Farrer Park Medical Centre with a strong clinical focus on surgical oncology and head and neck surgery. Throughout his distinguished career, he has contributed extensively to cancer care, surgical education, and academic leadership in Singapore and internationally.
