Dr. Shang Yeap Heng Oon 叶昇运医生

Dr. Shang Yeap Heng Oon is a specialist in Medical Oncology at Icon SOC Farrer Park Medical Clinic and a Visiting Consultant at Johns Hopkins Singapore. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from The University of Sydney, where he received the Faculty of Science International Merit Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement and membership in the Golden Key International Honour Society for top-performing students. Dr. Yeap completed his physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital and Gosford Hospital in Sydney before pursuing a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre, Westmead. He further advanced his expertise through a clinical research fellowship at the Sydney West Clinical Trials Centre, where he developed multiple clinical trials focused on breast cancer, urogenital cancer, novel cancer therapies, and pharmacogenomics. His research has been presented at international conferences and published in leading scientific journals, including the Journal of Clinical Oncology. From 2011 to 2015, Dr. Yeap served as Consultant Medical Oncologist at Johns Hopkins Singapore and Tan Tock Seng Hospital, managing patients with various cancers, particularly breast, gastrointestinal, lung, urogenital cancers, and melanoma. He also led oncology clinical services and acted as principal investigator in multiple cancer clinical trials. Dr. Yeap remains active in medical education as a faculty member of Johns Hopkins Medicine and is deeply committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based cancer care that supports patients physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
