Dr. Salleh Ibrahim

Dr. Salleh Ibrahim is a Hepatobiliary Surgeon with extensive expertise in liver transplantation, hepatopancreatic biliary surgery, and liver cancer management. He began his medical career at Singapore General Hospital, where he undertook his basic surgical training upon graduation. He subsequently obtained fellowships from the Royal Colleges of England and Scotland before advancing his surgical training at Changi General Hospital (CGH) and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). Dr. Salleh further specialised in liver transplantation under Professor Chen Chao Long, a pioneer of liver transplant surgery in Asia, at the internationally renowned Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Salleh established the Hepatopancreatic Biliary Unit and Liver Transplant Evaluation Unit at Eastern Health Alliance, where he served as Senior Consultant. He is also trained in Endoscopic Retrograde Pancreaticography and Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. Dr. Salleh has been recognised for his contributions to surgical education and healthcare service, receiving the Public Service Award in 2008, the Young Surgeons Award in 2002, and the Long Service Award in 2010 from Changi General Hospital. Beyond clinical practice, he is actively involved in academic research and international conferences, with over 60 speaking engagements worldwide and more than 32 published research papers focusing on metabolic syndrome, fatty liver disease, and Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC).
