Dr. Ramesh Subramaniam

Dr. Ramesh Subramaniam is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Surgi-TEN Specialists, with a subspecialty focus on shoulder, knee, and arthroscopic sports surgery. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore and completed his Master of Orthopaedic Surgery in Singapore. He subsequently underwent Advanced Surgical Training in Orthopaedic Surgery and earned his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Trauma and Orthopaedics. Dr. Ramesh further enhanced his expertise through multiple prestigious international fellowships. He was awarded the Human Manpower Development Program (HMDP) scholarship to train in Shoulder and Knee Surgery at the Santry Sports Surgery Clinic in Dublin, Ireland. He also completed a Sports Fellowship in Knee Surgery at Hospital Quirón in Barcelona under Professor Ramon Cugat, as well as a Fellowship in Shoulder Surgery at Hospital del Mar, Barcelona. His training included extensive experience in arthroscopic joint reconstruction and joint replacement. Dr. Ramesh has held academic roles as Clinical Senior Lecturer and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and has been actively involved in residency training and surgical education. He is also committed to humanitarian work, participating in medical missions in Indonesia and receiving the Minister of Health Award for his contributions during the Yogyakarta earthquake in 2006. He continues to contribute to sports medicine as a member of the Football Association of Singapore medical committee.
