Dr. Peter Lee Yew Chung 李耀宗医生

Dr. Lee is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon with more than 20 years of clinical practice, specializing in pediatric orthopaedic surgery and adult spine disorders. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and went on to obtain his Master in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of Liverpool. He further advanced his expertise through a fellowship in paediatric and spinal surgeries at Melbourne Children’s Hospital in Australia. Throughout his career, Dr. Lee has served as a consultant to several major hospitals in Singapore and internationally. He is currently a visiting consultant at the National University Hospital, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and the Ministry of Health in Seychelles. In addition to his clinical work, he has contributed significantly to medical education as a lecturer with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the National University of Singapore. Dr. Lee has also played a key leadership role in the orthopaedic community, serving as President of the ASEAN Orthopaedic Association in 2010 and the Singapore Orthopaedic Association in 2009. He established the ASEAN Orthopaedic Outreach Program to train doctors across the region and has actively participated in humanitarian efforts, including disaster relief missions following the 2005 tsunami and the 2007 earthquake in Indonesia. His contributions to the field have been recognized with several awards, including the Norah Walk Prize and the Young Investigator Award.
