Dr. Patricia Kho

Dr. Patricia Kho is a highly experienced medical oncologist with over 20 years of clinical practice, currently serving at Farrer Park Hospital. She has subspecialty expertise in breast, lung, head and neck, and gastrointestinal cancers. Dr. Kho graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, United Kingdom, and began her medical career at the National University Hospital in Singapore. She later pursued specialist training in Medical Oncology at the Sydney Cancer Centre, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (now known as Chris O'Brien Lifehouse), under the mentorship of leading oncologists. In 2003, she obtained her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Dr. Kho has held significant leadership and academic roles, including serving as Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney, where she also directed the clinical trials unit and contributed as a clinical lecturer. She later joined private practice at Sydney Adventist Hospital while continuing her academic pursuits. Her strong interest in translational research led her to work at the Genome Institute of Singapore and later complete a Master of Philosophy (Medicine) at the University of Sydney, focusing on optimizing treatment for colorectal cancer. She has also been affiliated with the Garvan Institute of Medical Research as a visiting scientist. Dr. Kho is an active member of several international oncology organizations and continues to contribute to advancements in personalized cancer treatment.
