Dr. Pamela Chan Siew Ling

Dr. Pamela Chan is a Consultant Psychiatrist practicing at The Psychiatric & Behavioural Medicine Clinic and The Psychotherapy Clinic, where she provides care for both adults and children. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 1986. Early in her career, she trained across multiple disciplines including Internal Medicine, Neurology, General Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynecology at National University Hospital, before specializing in psychiatry. Dr. Chan gained international experience while working at Charing Cross Hospital in London, United Kingdom, where she developed expertise in group and individual psychotherapy, perinatal and liaison psychiatry, and psychogeriatric mental health. After obtaining her membership with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, she returned to Singapore and contributed academically as a lecturer in the Department of Psychological Medicine at the National University of Singapore. Beyond clinical and academic roles, Dr. Chan has served as a consultant to various corporations and institutions, advising on stress management, life transitions, and lifestyle changes. She is also actively involved in research, with multiple publications focusing on depression, eating disorders, and women’s mental health. Additionally, she serves as an external examiner in behavioral medicine for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG).
