Dr. Ong Kee Leong is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in sports medicine, shoulder and knee surgery, and arthroscopic procedures. He has a strong clinical focus on the management of sports-related injuries and knee joint preservation surgery. Since 2011, he has been a registered Orthopaedic specialist with the Singapore Medical Council. Prior to private practice, Dr. Ong served as Senior Consultant and Director of Sports Service at Changi General Hospital, where he played a key role in developing sports orthopaedic care. He also has clinical experience at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ong graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2001 and obtained his Master of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2007. He was conferred Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2011. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious Health Manpower Development Plan scholarship to pursue a clinical fellowship in Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery in Germany, where he trained under leading experts. Dr. Ong is actively involved in medical education as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University and Senior Clinical Tutor at the National University of Singapore. He is also a core faculty member of the SingHealth Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program and has received multiple awards for excellence in teaching.
