Dr. Noel Leong

Dr. Noel Leong is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a subspecialty in Reproductive Medicine and In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF). His interest in infertility treatment began in 1978 after obtaining his specialist qualifications from the National University of Singapore and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London. He subsequently led the Infertility Clinic at the former KK Hospital, contributing significantly to the development of reproductive medicine services in Singapore. During his tenure at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Dr. Leong played a pivotal role in expanding the department into a comprehensive unit offering clinical services, teaching, and research in reproductive medicine and surgery. He was awarded the Ministry of Health’s Human Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Endocrinology in 1983, and later pursued further training in tubal microsurgery and minimally invasive procedures at Hammersmith Hospital in London and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. In 1991, he received another HMDP fellowship and trained at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. Dr. Leong is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and continues to provide comprehensive care in fertility, reproductive health, and obstetrics.
