Dr. Ng Kok Heong Alvin 黄国雄医生

Dr. Ng Kok Heong Alvin is a Senior Consultant Nephrologist with extensive experience in managing kidney diseases, including chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, kidney failure, and dialysis care. His clinical expertise covers both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, with a strong focus on comprehensive renal care and long-term disease management. Prior to private practice, Dr. Ng served as Consultant Nephrologist at North Shore Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. He later joined the Department of Renal Medicine at Changi General Hospital (CGH) in 2012, where he held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Peritoneal Dialysis Services and renal lead for the Eastern Community Health Outreach Programme. He also contributed to several key hospital committees, including Morbidity and Mortality, Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Medical Information, and Serious Reportable Event Review Committees. Since 2017, he has served as an Executive Committee Member of the Singapore Society of Nephrology. Dr. Ng obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Auckland in 2002. He completed his nephrology specialist training in New Zealand and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2010. He is also actively involved in medical education, serving as Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and contributing to multiple residency training programmes in renal and internal medicine.
