Dr. Mohd Mashfiqul Arafin Siddiqui (“Dr. Mash”) is a Senior Orthopaedic and Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeon at Mash Spine and Orthopaedics, Farrer Park Hospital. He has extensive experience in managing complex spinal and orthopaedic conditions, including spinal tumours, degenerative spine disease, spinal trauma, and deformities. Prior to private practice, Dr. Mash served as an Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and continued as a Visiting Consultant to the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery from 2017 to 2026. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and completed his orthopaedic specialist training in Singapore, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He further pursued advanced spinal surgery training at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, University of Alberta Hospital, and Stollery Children’s Hospital under internationally renowned spine surgeons with both orthopaedic and neurosurgical expertise. Dr. Mash is highly experienced in a wide range of spinal procedures, including microdiscectomy, minimally invasive decompression and fusion, spinal fracture fixation, scoliosis correction, artificial disc replacement, vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, cervical laminoplasty, and complex revision spine surgery. He also performs advanced tumour and sacral surgeries with spinopelvic reconstruction, utilising 2D and 3D computer-assisted navigation systems to enhance surgical precision and safety. He is actively involved in academic medicine, having presented at major international spine and orthopaedic conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. He also serves as a reviewer for The Spine Journal and is involved in training and mentoring future spine surgeons.
