Dr. Melanie Seah

Dr. Melanie Seah is a Consultant Breast Surgeon with a strong focus on breast oncoplastic surgery and comprehensive breast cancer care. She began her medical training at the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1995 and completed her residency in General Surgery at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She was later conferred Fellowship in General Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Following her fellowship, Dr. Seah was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan scholarship by the Ministry of Health, which enabled her to further specialise in breast oncoplastic surgery at Marien Hospital in Düsseldorf, Germany. There, she trained under Professor Audretsch Werner, a leading international figure in breast oncoplastic surgery, gaining advanced expertise in breast reconstruction and cancer surgery techniques. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Seah is actively involved in medical education and mentorship. She has served as Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and as a Clinical Teacher at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. She is passionate about guiding and nurturing future generations of doctors.
