Dr. Loh Poh Yen 骆宝炎医生

Dr. Loh Poh Yen is a dual-accredited specialist in Gastroenterology and Advanced Internal Medicine with extensive experience in managing complex medical and liver-related conditions. He graduated from the University of Malaya in 1999 and completed his early medical training in Malaysia before obtaining his Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (UK) and Master of Medicine from the National University of Singapore in 2006. Dr. Loh pursued specialist training in Singapore in both gastroenterology and advanced internal medicine, becoming one of the few physicians accredited in two specialties by the Ministry of Health. His expertise enables him to manage complex and interrelated gastrointestinal and general medical conditions with a holistic approach. He has a strong interest in advanced liver disease, which led him to further training under Professor Chen Chao Long at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, a leading center in living donor liver transplantation in Asia. Following his training, he served as a Consultant at Changi General Hospital, where he played a key role in coordinating care for patients with advanced liver disease and transplant needs. He was also instrumental in establishing the hospital’s liver clinic, which managed a high volume of hepatitis C patients.
