Dr. Lim Mui Hong 林美丰医生

Dr. Lim Mui Hong is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in sports medicine, focusing on the management of sports injuries and both arthroscopic and open surgical treatment of knee and shoulder conditions. His clinical interests include cruciate ligament injuries, cartilage and meniscus injuries, multi-ligament knee injuries, patellar instability, osteoarthritis of the knee and shoulder, as well as shoulder instability and rotator cuff disorders. Prior to private practice, Dr. Lim served as a Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he was also Head of the Sports Medicine and Surgery Service. He has an extensive background in military medicine, having held key positions in the Singapore Armed Forces, including Head of the Soldier Performance Centre. He has participated in peacekeeping and humanitarian missions and continues to contribute as an active NSman and visiting consultant. Dr. Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1997 under the SAF Local Study Award and obtained his Master of Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002. He completed his Advanced Specialist Training in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He further enhanced his expertise through fellowship training in knee and shoulder surgery in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to clinical practice, he is actively involved in research, teaching, and professional education.
