Dr. Lim Hui Fang 林慧芳医生

Dr. Lim Hui Fang is a specialist in Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine at The Respiratory Practice. She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 2003, followed by Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and a Master of Internal Medicine in 2007. She completed her specialist training at the National University Hospital and achieved dual accreditation in Respiratory Medicine in 2011 and Intensive Care Medicine in 2013. Dr. Lim further advanced her expertise through a clinical research fellowship in Severe Asthma at McMaster University, Canada, supported by an Academic Medical Development Award. Prior to entering private practice in 2022, she was a Senior Consultant at NUH Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, where she established the Complex Airway Clinic to provide multidisciplinary care for patients with severe and complex airway diseases. Her work has contributed to improved patient outcomes, including receiving the National Medical Excellence Award for reducing mortality in community-acquired pneumonia. Dr. Lim has also contributed to national healthcare initiatives as a consultant for the Singapore National Asthma Programme. In addition to her clinical work, she is actively involved in research and medical education, holding academic appointments and continuing her research in asthma and airway diseases.
