Dr. Leong Jern-Lin is a Senior Consultant Otorhinolaryngologist (ENT Surgeon) at ASCENT Ear Nose Throat Specialist Group, with clinics located in Orchard, Napier Road, Thomson, and Joo Chiat. With more than two decades of clinical experience, he specializes in rhinology, allergy, and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, providing comprehensive ENT care for both adults and children. His practice focuses on delivering personalized treatment for nasal and sinus disorders while utilizing minimally invasive surgical techniques to improve patient outcomes and recovery. Dr. Leong's expertise includes the medical and surgical management of allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, sinonasal and skull base tumours, revision endoscopic sinus surgery, and sublingual immunotherapy. He also has extensive experience in paediatric ENT conditions involving the tonsils, adenoids, ears, thyroid, throat, salivary glands, and sleep disorders. In addition, he has made significant contributions to nasopharyngeal cancer screening through the clinical application of Narrow Band Imaging (NBI). Dr. Leong graduated from the National University of Singapore before obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He later completed a prestigious fellowship in Rhinology and Allergy at the Cleveland Clinic Educational Foundation under the SingHealth Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP). Upon returning to Singapore General Hospital, he pioneered the implementation of image-guided ENT surgery for functional endoscopic sinus surgery and minimally invasive sinonasal procedures. Beyond clinical practice, he remains actively involved in medical education, clinical leadership, and the advancement of rhinology services in Singapore through his roles in national conferences and visiting consultant appointments.
