Dr. Leong Chuo Ren

Dr. Leong is a Senior Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at The Vascular and Endovascular Clinic. He previously served as Head of the Division of Vascular Surgery for 12 years and Deputy Head of the Department of Surgery for 6 years at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Dr. Leong obtained his Master of Medicine and Surgery from McGill University, Canada, and completed his general surgery training at North Shore University Hospital, New York, under the NYU and Albert Einstein College of Medicine residency program. He further pursued a vascular surgery fellowship at the same institution. Upon returning to Singapore, he established the vascular surgery unit at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in 2013 and developed it into a comprehensive department serving a large population. His clinical expertise includes complex open and endovascular aortic surgery, carotid interventions, venous disease management, dialysis access surgery, and advanced diabetic foot care. Dr. Leong is double board certified in General and Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and actively contributes to medical education and professional societies.
