Dr. Lam Mun San 林文珊医生

Dr. Lam is a highly experienced infectious diseases specialist with decades of clinical and research experience in managing a wide range of infections, particularly in immunocompromised patients. She graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1983 and completed her training in internal medicine, obtaining her Master of Medicine in 1988 and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 1989. She subsequently pursued advanced training in infectious diseases in both Singapore and the United States, including a two-year clinical and research postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lam is accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board of the Ministry of Health, Singapore, and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. She has a strong interest in immunisation and vaccine-preventable diseases and was previously Head of the Travellers’ Health & Vaccination Clinic at Tan Tock Seng Hospital before transitioning to private practice in 2000. She remains active in public healthcare as a visiting consultant at Singapore General Hospital. Dr. Lam is also a founding partner of the Infectious Disease Specialists Group and continues to contribute her expertise to both clinical care and public health initiatives.
