Dr. Kow Ren Yi is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Robotic Joint Surgeon with expertise in orthopaedic trauma surgery, robotic joint replacement, and minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures. His clinical practice includes trauma and fracture surgery of the upper and lower limbs as well as robotic hip and knee replacement surgery. Dr. Kow is experienced in enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols for knee replacement procedures and specialises in meniscus surgery including arthroscopic repair. He also performs arthroscopic and ligament reconstruction surgeries of the knee and ankle, as well as arthroscopic procedures for shoulder conditions. Dr. Kow obtained his MBBS from the International Medical University (IMU), Malaysia and completed his Master of Orthopaedic Surgery (MS Ortho) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He further advanced his training through fellowships in arthroplasty and adult reconstruction in Malaysia and Singapore. Dr. Kow is actively involved in orthopaedic research and has published and co-authored over 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is also engaged in academic and professional activities, serving as an editorial board member and reviewer for several orthopaedic journals while frequently presenting at national and international scientific meetings.
