Dr. Kong Po Marn 江宝文医生

Dr. Kong is an experienced respiratory physician specializing in asthma, chronic lung infections, and mycobacterial lung diseases. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1989 and obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 1994, followed by a Master of Medicine in Internal Medicine in 1995. He completed his specialist training in respiratory medicine at Tan Tock Seng Hospital and further advanced his expertise through a fellowship at National Jewish Health in Colorado, USA, under the Health Manpower Development Plan, where he focused on complex asthma and mycobacterial infections. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Kong served at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, where he established the Non-Tuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) clinic and led the Occupational Lung Diseases clinic. He continues to contribute to public healthcare as a visiting consultant in the Department of Respiratory Medicine. Dr. Kong is actively involved in academic medicine, with publications in international journals and frequent lectures on asthma and lung diseases. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, and a member of the American Thoracic Society. He also served as President of the Singapore Thoracic Society.
