Dr. John Hsiang 向晟医生

Dr. John Chen Hsiang is a seasoned gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over 20 years of clinical experience across Singapore, New Zealand, and Hong Kong. He currently leads the Richmond Gastroenterology Centre, practicing at Mount Elizabeth Orchard and Farrer Park Medical Centre, where he provides comprehensive care for digestive and liver conditions. Dr. Hsiang is dedicated to delivering personalized and patient-centered care, ensuring patients fully understand their conditions and treatment options. Fluent in Mandarin and Hokkien, he communicates effectively with a diverse patient base, creating a comfortable and supportive environment. He previously held key roles within the SingHealth cluster, including over six years in the Gastroenterology Department at Sengkang General Hospital. Dr. Hsiang is also passionate about public education, regularly conducting seminars and participating in media engagements to promote awareness of digestive and liver health. His clinical expertise includes the management of liver diseases such as fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis, and cirrhosis, as well as gastrointestinal disorders like GERD, irritable bowel syndrome, and Helicobacter pylori infection.
