Dr. Jeffrey Chew 周德福医生

Dr. Jeffrey Chew is a consultant orthopedic surgeon at Farrer Park Hospital with more than three decades of experience in orthopedic surgery. He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1989 and completed his postgraduate qualifications in 1994. His clinical practice focuses on hip and knee joint replacement surgery, arthritis management, and sports injuries involving the lower limbs. He is experienced in robotic-assisted joint replacement and utilizes the MAKO robotic system to improve surgical precision, implant positioning, and patient recovery. Dr. Chew completed advanced fellowship training in Adult Reconstructive Orthopaedic Surgery at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, where he specialized in joint replacement surgery. His academic achievements include receiving the prestigious Russell Hibbs Award from the Scoliosis Research Society and multiple research scholarships at the Mayo Clinic Biomechanics Laboratory, where he conducted biomechanics research on patellofemoral tracking in knee prosthesis designs.
